Q: Why Is Shapeez Sizing Different Than Traditional Bra Sizing?

Because Shapeez products have no bands or closures the old fashioned way of bra measuring may not result in the correct Shapeez size. So, we’ve developed a foolproof method to determine your perfect Shapeez size — take 2 simple measurements and we'll calculate which size is the best match. When you find the perfect size, your Shapeez bra will feel like it was made just for you! However, don’t be surprised if your measurements are larger or smaller than expected. You will want the correct size for the best look and feel in your Shapeez bra and to get the Perfect Fit.

Q: Are Shapeez bras different from traditional bras?

Yes. In order for a traditional bra to have breast support, it relies on the 1" to 2" narrow elastic bra band to provide 90% of the breast support. This elastic bra band goes around your body, compressing and displacing the soft tissue of the back and often digging in uncomfortably. This is really why we see lumps and bumps (back fat) where we want smooth and slim. Shapeez bras are designed so that the weight of the breasts is widely and evenly distributed across the fullest part of the back with our all-way-stretch, moisture-wicking, nylon-lycra fabric. This smooths, shapes, and slims the back and torso. You look and feel more supported and have a completely seamless, bulge-free back.

Q: How is the Tank Style Back different from your other styles?

Our tank style back products feature cut-in armholes and a lower neck line in the back making them virtually invisible under sleeveless styles.

Our other styles ( for example, The Ultimate and The Shortee ) feature full back coverage and provide smoothing for nearly any clothing style.

Q: Is the Shapeez bra comfortable to wear? Are they HOT?

We’ve often heard customers say that Shapeez bras feel like a “second skin”. All our bras are made with an all-way-stretch Nylon/Lycra, which is a technologically advanced moisture-wicking fabric that will keep you cool throughout the day. They are lightweight, smooth, and silky to the touch.

Q: What is the fabric used in Shapeez bras?

Our primary fabric is a premium high-tech Nylon (85%) Lycra (15%) blend imported from Italy. It provides 4-way stretch and medium compression.

Q: Will Shapeez bras support larger breasts?

Yes. The Shapeez bras have custom-made, molded underwire cups up to size E (The soft-cup Silkee Minimizer goes up to a size F) that not only provide outstanding support for your breasts, but also give you a beautifully shaped profile.

Q: Are Shapeez bras machine washable?

No, Shapeez bras are not machine washable. Washing them in a washing machine will damage the delicate components and void our 90 day warranty.

Care for your Shapeez bras as you would any other good bra using the following guidelines:

• Hand wash in cold water
• Hang or dry flat
• Do NOT Dry Clean
• Do NOT Iron
• Do NOT use bleach

Q: How do I put on a Shapeez bra?

There are 2 methods to putting on your Shapeez garment:

• Step into it and pull it up
  However, do not pull the bra up by the straps, but rather along the top/sides of the cups/body. Pulling up by the straps repeatedly may cause them to eventually come apart.
• Put it on over your head and pull it down
  It may take a few times putting it on and taking it off to get the hang of it. If you’ve ordered the correct size, your Shapeez bra should feel snug but not uncomfortable in any way.

Q: Does the bottom roll up?

No. None of our long style garments —The Ultimate, Tankee, Lacee, or Pretty w/ Lace —will roll up. We designed these garments to be hip length so they are long enough to tuck into your pants or skirts and designed to gently hug your hip area. You’ll love the way the they reduce the dreaded “Muffin Top” over your low rise jeans and pants.

NOTE: If your bra is rolling up, it is simply an indication that you are in the incorrect size. For issues regarding fit see Sizing > Fit Issues.

Q: How do I know what size to order?

To order the correct size garment, you will need 2 measurements. Your upper chest measurement will tell you which body size to order, and your individual breast size measurement will tell you which cup size to order. Please see our Sizing Guide which illustrates how to measure correctly for both body and cup. Shapeez bras fits cups from A-E (The Silkee Minimizers go up to a size F) and bra band/body sizes from 32–46.

Q: How do I know if I’m in the right size Shapeez bra?

The body size and cups of all our Shapeez bras are designed to fit snuggly but not too tightly. If you’ve measured as instructed, you should be very comfortable in the correct size.
